When planning a cast member's talents and skills, think about how genetics, personality traits (both positive attributes and flaws), past experiences, environment, and the character's roles (within a family, a community, and society) all factor into what strengths may form. These special qualities should tie into the story, not only to make the character interesting but also to help him achieve his goal.
DEFINITION:
Being skilled in playing a role convincingly and/or drawing the audience in through a specific skillset for the purpose of entertainment

DESCRIPTION:
A character who is a skilled performer is able to captivate an audience through an entertainment medium or act. Performances usually center in the arts, where an actor, musician, dancer, singer, or another type entertains the crowd.

Performance can also be a character assuming a role or persona so convincingly that others do not question its authenticity. This may be done for a variety of reasons, including nefarious ones.

A proficiency in a specific area (having the acting chops to play a character convincingly, being a powerful singer or talented acrobat, etc.)
