HELPFUL TIP:

When planning a cast member's talents and skills, think about how genetics, personality traits (both positive attributes and flaws), past experiences, environment, and the character's roles (within a family, a community, and society) all factor into what strengths may form. These special qualities should tie into the story, not only to make the character interesting but also to help him achieve his goal.
DEFINITION:
Being able to stay calm and even-tempered under pressure

DESCRIPTION:
Characters skilled in equanimity are able to control their emotions quickly because they understand that all experiences are valuable, even negative ones. This allows them to quickly recover from disappointments and move forward. Challenges and obstacles do not derail them and even in stressful situations they have the ability to push aside everything not relevant (emotions, self-doubt, second-guessing, the expectations of others, etc.) and focus only on what is.

BENEFICIAL STRENGTHS OR ABILITIES:
Being a follower of stoicism
Having the ability to quickly forgive and move on
Viewing mistakes and failures as opportunities to learn rather than evidence of poor worth
Being unafraid of obstacles and challenges as they are a pathway to growth
Feeling compassion for others and seeing conflicting viewpoints and concerns as valid
Being able to ignore distractions
The ability to let go of unhelpful emotions (especially negative ones)
Being able to quickly sort through what is relevant in a situation and discard what is not
The ability to fully live in the present rather than being consumed by worries of what may happen in the future
