Settings should always be chosen with care. Consider the emotion you want your viewpoint character to feel and how setting choices, weather elements, and symbolism might build a specific mood in the scene, create tension and conflict, or even raise the stakes.
SIGHTS:
Trailers and mobile homes in close proximity to one another
Homes laid out row by row or sprawling haphazardly across the park
Narrow dirt or gravel roads with ruts
Tiny lawns with spotty grass
Stepping stones going across the grass
Outdoor living areas such as porches that have been added to a trailer, portable canopies, awnings, or a concrete patio

One's country's flag flying from a post or affixed to the roof
