Settings should always be chosen with care. Consider the emotion you want your viewpoint character to feel and how setting choices, weather elements, and symbolism might build a specific mood in the scene, create tension and conflict, or even raise the stakes.
SIGHTS:
An atrium (with informational pamphlets, religious books, a donation box, bulletin boards containing church news and announcements, pictures of past or present clergy members, a table with coffee and baked goods)
Greeters passing out bulletins containing a schedule of the service
