Conflict is your story’s secret sauce, supplying tension, friction, and complications to a character’s journey. It comes in a million different forms, so identify the obstacles and problems that will hit your character the hardest by using the Character Builder to uncover their primary insecurities, fears , and desires. MINOR COMPLICATIONS:
The character having to be careful about what they say so their words can't be used against them

Hiring someone to investigate the plaintiff and the validity of their case
Fielding questions from friends or family members about the lawsuit
Incurring costs—from missing work or paying for childcare—from attending court 
Having to do damage control to protect their reputation

Needing to pay medical bills or other damages for an injured person
